For those interested in the fate of Doctor Who comics:

Seems like a pretty big step for Titan.

I heard about that this morning. Titan did some great stuff in 2013 and with the addition of the Doctor Who license, I think 2014 should be a good year for Titan.

they must have been encouraged to take the plunge by my 'publisher to watch' honorable mention :P

I must admit that I know nothing about Titan Comics, but after the way you and John talked about it, I want to get the Number Cruncher trade if/when it is available.
