Dragon's Lair (Mililani, Hawaii) First Anniversary, 5/2/15

Post by MrAloha »

To: All Hawaii residents and visitors from the mainland.

Dragon's Lair (Mililani) is celebrating their First Anniversary this Saturday, 5/2/15, on Free Comic Book Day!

The owners are Lucas and Randee Martin.

To celebrate the store's first anniversary, they are going to have:

1) Local artists at the store.
Jon Murakami
Lorenzo Abernathy
Chris Gritti

2) In-store sales

3) Some Cosplayers.
They encouraged their customers to dress up as their favorite character.

If you guys get a chance, stop by and support this local comic book shop.

John, Mahalo (Thank you in Hawaiian) for letting me promote my comic book store on your website.

Happy Free Comic Book Day!

Aloha,
Jason

The store is located in The Gateway At Mililani Mauka Shopping Center

Address:
95-1840 Meheula Parkway, E-10
Mililani Mauka, HI 96789
Phone: (808) 597-6981

I've include a pictures of the store.
(With verbal permission from Lucas Martin.)
(A BIG MAHALO to John Mayo who helped get these pictures on the forum.)

Very cool store and Have a great FCBD Jason!

I used to live in Hawaii when I was a kid. My dad was stationed at Pearl Harbor. I went to Jelly's at Ala Moana and Jelly's by PearlRidge Mall.

So cool to see a store in Mililani. That area was not built up when I lived there in the mid 80's. I have heard Mililani and Waipahu both are built up alot more now. I wanna visit again one day!

Take care and again, Happy FCBD !

Great looking shop. Thanks for sharing.

CBR's Robot 6 has a weekly column about different stores and how they came to be. I always make sure to visit a shop or two whenever I visit a different city. Each shop seems to have their own personality and quirks.
