The new Previews should hits the stands on Wed November 26th.

The December Previews call will be on Saturday December 6th at 5pm Pacific / 6pm Mountain / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern.

As always, get on Skype around the start time (or join any time after, the call can run 4 hours of rousing comics chat) and look for thejohnmayo or BobBretall and message them to get joined into the call.

Submissions for the Previews Spotlight #014 show should be in by the end of Saturday December 6th. Of course you can start sending in submissions as soon as you have them done. Sending them in early is appreciated as it give us more time to organized the clips and plan out the episode.

Remember: We encourage anyone to send in a short audio clip where they can talk about any book that's coming out in the upcoming Previews that they are really excited about. The email address to send the clips to is TheGuys@ComicBookPage.com. (Some people were only send them to either just John or just Bob and we both need to get them to prepare to recording the episode. By using TheGuys email address, the email goes to both Bob and John.)

PLEASE: Each featured item should be in a separate audio file.

We would also appreciate it if you put the page number followed by the full name of the item in the filename. If you don't know the page number, that is fine. Just leave it off. But having the full name of the item the clip is for makes it much easier for us to organize the files and prepare for recording the episode.

Tips on how to record a clip can be found here.

The DC previews are up. A lot of good stuff. It seems that Jerry Ordway is coming on to JSA as co-writer and artist for the new story arc. It is probably to help both Johns (who is writing too many books) and Dale Eaglesham (who has been consistency late by a week or so since the book started.

This looks interesting:

THE PHANTOM: GHOST WHO WALKS #1
Written by Mike Bullock and David Michelinie, art by Silvestre Szilagyi, colors by Bob Pedroza, covers by Sy Barry, Joe Corroney and Vivek Goel.
"End War," part 1 of 3. A UN peace-keeping mission in Northern Africa takes an explosive turn for the worst. The Phantom soon discovers this is just the opening shot in a war to end all wars waged by an army who lusts for their own martyrdom. And for the first time ever, the legendary Phantom artist Sy Barry has provided a new cover for an American Phantom comic!
32 pages, $3.99

HOWEVER, after what Moonstone did with Captain Action #1, I'm afraid to order it, lest I end up with a 10 page Phantom story, backed up by 2 other stories I don't care about. I may check it out on the rack, given I ever go to a comic shop that actually has one on the rack.

I will be getting it for sure just because it has David Michelinie. Yeah.

If no one called these two titles, I will do them:

Hotwire #1 from Radical, based on a story by Warren Ellis, written and drawn by Steve Pugh. I have no idea what the books is about, but I am going to try it and promote because of the publisher and creators involved

Daredevil #116 - Kingpin baby!!

I am trying to figure out what DC title I could do. I get about 25 DC books, but I don't want to pick an obvious popular choice (i.e. Neil Gaiman's Batman).
