We discussed the April 2006 sales figures for about 53 minutes or so this time around. I even got a new segement opener for the Mayo Report.

Below are the rough notes I put together in preparation for the podcast. I've added linked to the charts for the titles mentioned. I use these notes as a guide for the podcast be we never cover all of the titles I have in the notes and we frequently discuss many other things that I don't have in my notes.

  • CBG = ~728.90
    • Up about ~30.93 from 2006-03 (~697.97)

MARKET SHARES

  • Another strong month for Marvel
    • A little under half (46.94%) of the comic book units sold this month
    • A little under half (46.11%) of the comic book dollars sold this month
  • Again DC came in second place behind Marvel
